Services Available

ReCoHere has several services available to the public, institutions, and members.

Textile Tapestry Installation

ReCoHere has developed a method for re-using discarded fast fashion clothing, which often cannot be resold because of its low quality. Using a technique similar to Latch Hook, we can design and install an Art Work on a fence at your location!

We will work with you to design an art work that fits your desires. Then we will design the grid and collect and prepare materials, which are all un-sellable clothing items.

ReCoHere will do a day installation at your property, either with your employees or students, or we can do it ourselves. We will teach your group how to do the installation, and the importance of reuse and avoiding pollution. Then we will all tie the clothing into the fence together!

When the artwork begins to degrade, or you are finished having it up, we will come by and remove the artwork, without damaging your fence. The degraded material will then be reused again, typically as filler for punching bags!

Donate or Receive Materials

ReCoHere accepts some materials for redistribution and reuse! Some materials we accept for free, some we charge a small amount to store and redistribute.

Our goal here is to reduce waste and provide useful items to marginalized people. Please do not bring bags of trash to our location. But if you have useful items of a good enough quality, we would like to find a way to get them to people who need them!

Small Business Upcycler Support

ReCoHere supports businesses in Central Oregon who make products or host services using upcycled or reused materials. We also offer start-up counseling and support!

Do you need jars for candles? Beads for jewelry? Textiles for anything?

We can provide those, either for free or at a low cost!
